My cheap Ferm drill has always been a bit of a disappointment, so after watching a few threads on this site decided to go the buy old quality route. Just arrived on pallet an hour ago:
Seems reasonably well looked after and a bit heavier to lift onto the bench than its predecessor:
No evident wear and runs smooth, only the wiring to redo: an ex WD Santon switch is on order and will need to decide whether to repaint it back to original, or just do it in Myford Grey to match my Lathe.
Am delighted a real quality drill.
