Hi all,
I have a Hydrovane 5 compressor that I use on a cnc plasma table. It doesn’t quite keep up with demand and air pressure at the torch starts to drop after three minutes or so.
I’m thinking of upgrading the motor so it matches the higher output of the Hydrovane 15 model. I’ve found this motor that seems to match the spec of the motor on the 15.

Does anyone know if this be a straight swap? And whether I’d need to make any further modifications? Or are there any drawbacks of doing this?
I have a 16amp socket available, the spec on the above motor states a 13.5amp full load.
Cheers
