I have a dewalt radial arm saw. It is very quiet. Sounds like just the blade spinning really.
I have a rage circular saw. You need ear defenders before it even hits the wood.
Same with my kress router.
...but then the new motor that I'm fitting on my linisher is another one of the quiet ones.
So, how do I tell from the packet what it is?
The reason I ask is that I was going to buy a rage 2 chop saw (the one with the large blade, not the 3) and then I realised it would probably be like a jet, and, maybe, if I knew what I was doing, I could find a different make with the quiet type motor?
