Depends. Cheap compared to what. Try buying a genuine lorch or fronius plus and getting much change out of £40 -50.
Why dont you just cut the plug off your old torch. Fit a couple of push fit crimp connectors on both torch’s and just swap the plug between torches as you use them. One plug for two torches.[/QUOTEone shop said to cut it an put choc blocks on it that's what they do but the one where the welder came from had genuine esab ones I could cut the cable but it would probably do my head in if £15 is expensive I will have to cut it for now because it's only a 3pin plug but none of the electrical or computer shops sell anything like it
I guess I would pay that to stop it from doing my head in I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to be ripped offWell only you can decide if it’s expensive or not. Is it worth it to you?? I would definitely not have a problem spending that on a plug but some would never. You decide.
Unless it fits an esab I can't see how that's relevant...
Probably! if it’s still in warranty then it’s best you don’t. But if not then that would be a nice little upgrade.Agree entirely rich, but if we make changes like that surely it'd invalidate the warranty ?
If you look at the info on the plug and look at RS that should give you some idea of price.View attachment 128545 Is £15 cheap for a genuine esab one of these plugs
