Hi Guys, i after some debate going to keep my Mitis FTO, worth more to me than what folk are offering for it. And beside its a good car but for welding and brakes. Welding is mainly outer cill work and one bad spot on the rear out rigger above the fuel tank, oh joys lol. That will be removed as i cna bet there will be more under there and if i am going to fix her up i may aswell do it properly.
I am used to welding cars but not Tig work on them.
So i have a decent tig welder ( Cros Arc 200 HF ) hardly use it so i wouldnt mind getting some use from it. Now not being brill at tig welding but i can do it.
What is it like to weld upside down, overlap joint needed i guess and well cleaned material?
I have a Clarke 100E mig that needs a fettle, llner etc and roller maybe now so if need be i will fix that up.
Just fancy a go at tigging it.
Or should i forget it ?
Cheers
