Talking about proof...I listed an item twice...first time he said he did not like the item...my bad luck..He had a full refund inc postage.Im wondering how the fees for out of ebay sales thing works?
I mean, how they collect evidence.
Eg -
Buyer contacts seller
Seller sends their email for "further discussion"
Sale is cancelled on ebay
That's not proof of anything.
Paypal is now a separate company, so would it be legal for them to supply ebay with transaction information between members? I suspect not.
On a related note -
Every time ebay stuffs sellers even further, everyone says "im going to stop" and "there must be an alternative" etc.etc.
They say it again when ebay stuffs them some more.
And then the next time ebay pulls one over on them...
And the next.
(you get the general idea, im sure!)
Ok...so having been caught by one guy who obviously wanted to try before he purchased we relisted and altered explaining it was for american based cars...dont buy if you dont know what you are buying...so the next fool who has a merc purchased on a lower offer and then lied and said it did not work..
I complained to ebay that I should not be liable for postage as it DOES work but not only did they refund in total BUT they allowed the nice fluffy bunny to leave bad feedback...It would not be so bad but his gripe was he had to wait 4 days for a refund
...EBAY TOLD ME NOT TO REFUND until they investigated...
