Well another busy week converting perfectly good metal into scrap.
After some serching found a website to work out truss sizes for my lean to, not believing the results I tested one. Put the old chain host in the middle and lifted my 800kg tractor up, well I was surprised it deflected 10mm, was expecting total failure.
They were right ! So this is what I ended up with, no quite finished yet.
Photos not quite in the order I thought, but you get the idea.
5.9 x 6.8m width. Made from 30 x 30 x 2mm galvanised, with 20 x 20 x 2mm lattice. All done with gasless ) BOC smootharc GS) mig. 15V - 5m/min.
