Hi all.
I have recently bought a VW t25 that needs some welding so am planning on doing it myself.
I realise that i need to buy a half decent machine as some are just awful. My first question is do i really need gas sheilding? I'm mainly going to be using it outside and i live in Cornwall - read very windy! Which i gather is what gasless is best at, but then i read gasless is just not as good and a beginner is better of with gas!
The two machines i am considering are:-
SWP Redline 150

partly because i can collect it and always feel its better to buy this kind of product from a shop i can go into. But i haven't heard much about this machine, and don't know the brand.
The second one is the Sealey MightyMig 150.
both are gas or gasless. and Wellyweld sell hobbyweld gas that seems like a good compromise on price v quantity.
Hope someone help.
Cheers
Ben
