Nice sold job, what sort of boat is it off?
We did one and the customer insisted the leading edges were tapered to zero to reduce drag, it probably made little difference but it all counts when trying to push through the water I suppose.
Yeah I think if I had to put a tenner on it that would be my choice too, second choice would be fishing related.Perfect for a canal boat..........

Pretty sure that's a canal boat rudder going by the size of it. That large area of the rudder is used to deflect the propwash one way or another to give some manoeuvering ability. It's certainly a slow type of boat anyway - with a rudder that big and with a small balance area ahead of the stock you'd never be able to swing it going above 4 or 5 knots.
