Ok, so most of it is made of "high quality" steel these days, but still...
Looking for a reasonable supplier, that doesn't charge the earth for delivery.
Having had a look at a number of sites, I've come to the conclusion that a number of the websites are in fact the same company, charging different prices on each of the sites, but using the same VAT and Company Details.
Forest Metals, Iron Finials, FH Brundle are the same company these days. All the same products, product codes, but completely different prices.
I don't have the energy or time to waste with ordering from outside of the UK, as most stuff I end up making is last minute, and quite a quick turn around from design to install.
Latest price for a 2335mm panel, at 915 tall, with 2 posts, 12no 12mm straights and 5 decorative pieces, comes in at a shade under £90 delivered. Now, I can understand that nice panels command a premium, but £90 before I've even manufactured it for them let alone painted or galvanized it is getting a little steep unfortunately.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Steve
