HELP please - I'm having great difficulty getting my WOLF turbo 100 gasless Mig welder to feed the wire. The feed seems to get within a few inches of the nozzle and then jams (electrode was removed). I've corrected the feed pulley to take 0.8mm wire, increased the speed (ended up with wire inside the box shorting the house out! step 2 remove spaghetti!).
In order to do the urgent initial job I fed a length of wire in from the nozzle, put the elctrode and shroud on and left the wire hanging at the back, even then the feed was sporadic at best. I did manage to botch together a holding weld but it won't work properly until I get this sorted.
I may have the spool installed incorrectly (spool, then spring. then cap, then clip) the instructions are unclear but that shouldn't have affected my final effort which didn't use the spool.
There appears to be an obstruction near the nozzle.
Any clues
Thanks in advance
