Yesterday I swapped the wire in my Cebora Boxer 175 from 0.6 mild steel wire to 0.8 stainless wire to weld some stainless steel. I turned the wire feed wheel around to the 0.8 groove and changed the tip but was getting very poor wire feed (the wire spool was turning freely by hand) and the liner is steel.
I have had the welder for over 3 years now and have never used any rusty or dirty wire.
I blew through the liner by mouth but it did not help so I struggled on, when I refitted the 0.6 wire the feed was back to normal.
1. Can the liner be removed and cleaned with an airline (assuming this is the problem).
2. If I replace the liner are they specific to that welder (This is not a euro torch) or can I just get a 3mtr 0.6/0.8 steel liner.
