I have had this MIG welder for just over a year and have had a few problems with it, whether they're the machines fault or not I am unsure.
The first problem I had was when feeding wire (flux cored) the wire would sometimes stub and then it would buckle and unreel within the machine. I thought this might be flux on the end of the wire preventing a circuit temporarily, at least enough to stub the wire and cause it to buckle. This meant id have to open the machine, pull the wire out and set up again a lot. I half got around this by cutting the end of the wire every time before welding but that wasn't the biggest problem I had.
The biggest problem I've had is that sometimes the welder would refuse to feed wire at all, it was pot luck if it would. Holding the gun trigger down nor the button inside the case would work, I've tried pressing the dinz sockets in whilst trying as suggested but no luck. This would only sometimes resolve itself when i came back a week or so later and it would work but then stop working after a while. I'd end up jut stick welding and mainly just do that due to the problem. I sent the machine back but they claimed all was working fine and they had tested it but when i got it back it wasn't working. It has a 32A plug but don't have a socket for that so use an adaptor but don't see that being the issue.
I've opened it up to have a look if there is anything loose but can't see anything, but I'm no expert on electronics or welders. I've attached some images to see if that helps. I also tried putting a (quite old) multi meter across the motor wires and get a small reading, unsure if I'm using the meter correctly or if the reading is right or significant enough though.
I'd appreciate any help at all!
