22A9830B-4150-4869-9B5F-569552D0EAB3.jpeg quite pleased with this outcome, for the second time the adjustment knob of the potentiometer had sheared off, last time I repaired it by drilling a 1.5mm hole up the centre, then glueing the drill in the hole,c/w knob, this lasted a long time,so long that I lost the new replacement I’d brought,so it broke again just before Xmas, this time glue didn’t work,so another was ordered, meanwhile I heated a screwdriver tip and pressed it in to form a slot, bingo.Lets hope it doesn’t become semi permanent.lol.

Drill it again and stick a bolt in with Araldite before the slot wears and the driver won't grip. You could lock a wing nut on it to give something to hold or a small Allen key would give you a handle to turn and a pointer for reference to the numbers. What value is the potentiometer as they are very cheap and it looks easy enough to get at for a repair.
