Does this work or are you better with an Ethernet cable?
I would strongly recommend hard wiring. It is reliable, secure and doesn't fill the HF bands with wideband hash. I would like to see Powerline links banned.
Mostly we use WiFi but the youview box needs hard wiring. the box is too far from the router for ethernet so powerline it is. not had any problems over the time its been in so I got another one to network my printer, faultless so far.

Ethernet will go for hundreds of metres. Far greater than Powerline converter. Cat6 cable is thin and unobtrusive, so easy enough to run.
100m max for ethernet and if it's going to be data heavy the real world limit could be less
The limit of 100m can be extended fairly simply, but the point I was making is that Cat6+ is far preferable to the alternatives. There is no way that a Powerline adapter wil approach anything like that.
