When we sorted out the broadband in this house they sent us a new router but we left the old one plugged in as we were all already connected to it, so we've got a spare, brand new BT Smarthub 2 somewhere. I've just noticed a second phone socket in the corner of my room, assuming I can actually find the spare hub, is there any reason we can't have two routers connected to the same phone line?
I know the more conventional way of doing it is with ethernet but then I have to run a cable upstairs and hope the new router can be configured as an access point, Googling it doesn't look like it can.
