Hi all
I want to weld m/s box section 16 gauge/18 gauge and bicycle tubing every one I meet , email , talk to says you can't do that with a stick welder.
So how come this site exists ? http://www.atomiczombie.com/
Where he has a welding tutorial :- http://www.atomiczombie.com/ct-welding.html#welding
He has lot's of followers and sells loads of bike plans :- http://www.atomiczombie.com/main.aspx?click=plans
So can it be done with say a Clarke 145TN for £80 [ they have a VAT free day end of April ].
Or as a non-welder [ done some O/A in the past ] would I make the learning easier by springing a lot more for a Inverter AT130 for £180 say ?
Not looking for pretty welds prepared to grind some as long as they are strong/safe.
regards Paul
