Hi all,
Found this site doing some google searching on mig welders, and I’ve been reading loads of the older posts and wow there is some great information to be found !!
I have previously done some minor car restoration stuff years ago with a borrowed Sealey (can’t remember the model) and then a Rand 200s which I remember being the better of the two by a good bit, but I’ve been looking to do some of this again as a hobby with a mk2 escort I’ve had in the thrown in the shed with years, but I want to get my own welder this time and have been looking to go for an invertor mig. (Have gas and a regulator already)
I had my eye on a Telwin 180 dual synergic, as my buddy has a telwin transformer type with years and recommended the brand name.
But after lots of reading on here, I’m a bit unsure if I should consider other options, such as the gys 162 smart mig which seems to come highly recommend on here and I’ve also been impressed by parweld xtm 160i
So I’ve decided at the risk of starting yet another what welder thread, that I would ask on here first,
Thanks in advance.
