ThanksLook at the GYS Smartmig 162, or the Parweld XTE 171. Either will achieve a nice weld and will be easy to use.
I personally own the GYS, absolutely love it.

Most probably quality, GYS are next level to Parweld if I'm honest. I've got a Parweld machine myself & its a good bit of kit. But GYS is just that next step up.What made you choose the GYS over the parweld
Going by what I've just seen thin sheet upto 5mmDo you know what thinkness the gys will weld up to
And what’s the thinnest metal it will weld
Not sure what welding stores I have nEar meNo comments on either machine or manufacturer. But buy local to you, that way you have support near by if you need it. You can always haggle a little on the price or see if they will throw anything in with whatever machine you do buy.
I’m torn for choice because both machines are very similar in price and reviews. But I am going to have to find which is best though.GYS after sales is brilliant, a lot of getting things sorted depends on the customer service of who you buy it from.
The factors that made me choose the GYS were it’s ease of use, compact nature, powerful feed motor and knowing the backup team at GYS are great.
The only thing I like about the parweld is that the earth lead is removable but other than that I don’t know which one to chooseI’m torn for choice because both machines are very similar in price and reviews. But I am going to have to find which is best though.
The problem is all the reviews on the gys are in French is my main problem.
Where is the best place to buy the gys from or the parweld or is it better to just shop around
That would be helpful where are you based in Telford. Would it work though as I’m under 18Would playing with both of them help out? We’ve got both in at our place so if you’re by Telford at any point you can come in for a play.
Will come down some time. Are you open on the weekend and what time are you open till on week daysW're on Halesfield industrial park. I'm sure it'd be okay.. not particularly many hazardous things going on.
May be a bit of a struggle to get down before the summer holidays but will try to get down beforeCool, We're not open weekends, open until 5 weekdays.
