I think he used ready-to-go pieces ( flowers ) from a wrought iron manufacturer catalogue , pretty common here , anyway lots of working hours I guess .
I've been always convinced that we steel craftmen are strange ( and unique ) persons , it's not only about money but also about the passion we put in our job , and that's priceless
Lucky him to get some free time , here we are continuosly in a hurry , we don't have time even for a coffee , shop-holidays are coming too
