Migatronic automig 231 for sale.This welder works but doesn't seem very powerful so selling as spares or repair.No regulator or gas bottle but has a new torch.
specifies that it has 11 voltage steps ( ! ), and a very wide OCV range of 17 to 47 volts. It has Spot, Stitch, and Burnback timers.
The circuit diagram shows that the control board ( or box ) is connected via the typical Migatronic "DB9" 9-pin plug. There are other Migatronic threads on the Forum that include diagrams for the various models of control boards that use that connector.
The low output power could be due to a loose or corroded connection, an O/C diode, or failure of the capacitor bank. A voltmeter test of the output at each step might indicate what could be wrong.
If it was closer to me, I would buy it!
