As mentioned I’m a newbie regarding welding. Initially I wanted to buy a MIG/MAG welder capable of brazing. My limit was 500 - 600€ since won’t use it that often. Because CuSi wire is a bit more demanding with respect to the quality of the wire feed - it is softer than steel wire - I got concerned that welders in this price range might not be that good here. So I reconsidered an opted for a TIG welder. No wire feed and I have all the time to learn ... my neighbour has professional welding background so I know whom to ask for an opinion on my upcoming results. Furthermore, some youtube videos showing tig welding in classic car restoration (my actual goal for DIY) buttressed my switch to tig so I’ve ordered a Weldinger WE 205 pro TIG welder - 290€. It’s produced in China for a small German distributor. Their MIG/MAG welder has received good reviews so I’ll give their TIG a try. If the results are bad I can blame the TIG welder
