Its 10mm.I've got a Kemppi 200 evo as well...it welds lovely....I use 0.8mm wire with argon mix.
One thing I notice in your pic...that steel looks pretty thick? My Kemppi is maxed out at 5mm steel I think.
Its a bike lock, back wheel of the ktm goes in so someone struggles to nick it.Doesn’t look too bad although I know what the others say. Btw what is that ‘thing’ you welded?
up the power and move fasterThanks for your answers.
My point is i cannot weld flat. Love my kemmpi but will keep trying and trying.
Thats pretty chunky for a 200A MIG welder I reckon...I've done 8mm with mine with a "V" prep to the joint....think I did a couple of quick passes (wasn't anything critical).Its 10mm.
try it flat next time 10mm you will be maxing that kempi out for sureLike i say i mess around making bits an bobs.
i aint no expert at all.
You beat me to that idea!! I had similar one for the front wheel and forks where it was two large sides. Well done! Its a bike lock, back wheel of the ktm goes in so someone struggles to nick it.
It looks thicker than 3mm in the pictureDownhill mig is ok for thin metal 3mm and under.
