I'm brand new to welding, but have the intention to make a fair bit of furniture over the next 12 months, some of which will be metal framed. Most of the work will be shelves and small units a bit like this:

And some larger pieces, like making industrial looking legs for tables like this:

I don't think I'll be doing anything significantly bigger than the welds for the table legs.
From what I've read so far, I think I will be best doing gassless MIG welding. Would be really grateful for suggestions for models I should consider; and also the gas bottle type that I should buy with it. I've seen the Clarke 135TE Turbo MIG (£299) and the R-Tech 180 (£478).
I'm not doing this professionally, but I'm also a beginner - so a reliable, easy machine that doesn't require expert skills to configure and troubleshoot is preferred. As ever, would like to minimise the cost, but don't want to buy too cheap and regret it.
Grateful for any advice on the welder (and also the gas bottle). I'm based in SW London.
