The impeller on our Bosch WM drain pump has become wobbly on the shaft and it won't pump. Every now and again the impeller seems to centralise and it pumps fine but obviously it's in need of replacement so I've ordered a whole new pump assembly which probably won't arrive for a week or so.
I was wondering if I could somehow temporarily fix the impeller centrally onto the shaft just to tide us over until the new one arrives.
Would epoxy work? I've got some Gorilla glue stuff which is water resistant but not waterproof but as said, it's only got to work for maybe a week.
Any other suggestions? How is the impeller fitted to the shaft and how can it be wobbly but still spin?
