My Colchester Master 2500 has a lot of wear to the bed, but the headstock runs like a top.
I'm considering having the bed and saddle re-ground and then rebuilding it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of a firm that will undertake this work and does anyone have any experience of cost.
I only paid £450 for the lathe and with the good headstock I think it's worth putting some investment into as a good example is worth north of £3-4K.
