Hi Guys
I have never really believed I was getting full HP from my VFD
Not wanting to advertise, But I don't normally buy cheap, and as such my VFD is a good branded UK item
never the less, even with the low torque boost on, the motor can stall on BOTH my milling machines
Yes have tried talking to the VFDs tech guys etc, every thing is as it should be,
BUT I do remember reading (since going the VFD rout that a VFD only gives either 1/3rd or 2/3rds the power (cant remember which way round, 1/3rd or 2/3rds)
Anyway, I would rather this topic was NOT about setting up a VFD but more the difference and advantages of either VFD or Rotary phase
