Hi,
I plan on building some universal beam trusses for one of my work shops as the wooded ones are pretty well shot!
So I thought I just as well make them out of steel so I could gain a little head room for my car lifts.
They will sit on top 6inch block walls and I am concerned that if a make a simple apex with a 1meter brace it will spread the walls out over time.
So I thought about adding another brace coming off the horrizontal brace back down to the walls with the next size down ub.
The building is 20 foot wide and the roof height is 6 foot.
Do you think my design will work? Or do I even need to add the extra apex?
Concrete roof sheets btw
