In preparation for the job of rust proofing the vehicle underbody which has not been touched from new, the underbody has to be thoroughly washed and degreased first.
I am using a cold water high pressure washer (130 bar) together with three types of industrial degreasers.
The underbody was extremely filthy. It has NEVER been washed since the vehicle was made 8 years ago, and the vehicle has been used in an industrial, polluted city.
The underbody was white when new, but it has become dark grey from the filth.
To shorten the story, the issue is that I just can not remove the filth from the pores in the OEM anti stone chip coating. I managed to remove it only from some of the "high spots" on the OEM anti stone chip coating.
Please see the attached pictures. 1st picture is before washing. 2nd picture is the best result that I got so far.
Like I said, the clean anti stone chip material is white, and filth is dark grey.
I tried three types of industrial grade degreasers and I pressure washed the underbody to death from very close proximity to no further effect.
What should I do?
