Following on from the discussion about regulator age, what is the advantage, apart from greater consistency of flow, of using a two stage regulator?
I noticed that the Victor Edge regulators were mentioned but I am not sure they are two stage: https://www.1stopweldingshop.com/Ca...uipment/Gas-Regulators/Victor-Edge-Regulators
Would someone care to jump in and educate me? For the record I have the regulator as supplied by Parweld with my 202P Tig welder, it seems to work just fine though the guages are only viewable if you look at them top down. Because my Argon bottle is side valved.
Additionally, I have an AlBee cylinder with built in regulator. That seems to work okay too on the Mig.
