35 years ago i obtained a broken trolleyjack from a tire fitters where i was doing some electrical work. £50 quid i paid for it a lot at the time all that was wrong was the flexible coupling in the handle that releases the jack was bust . welded it up and has been fine since .recently the plunger seals went and started leaking allover .i decided to strip it shotblast it with me new pot . which works fine . I etch primed it and a coat of. paint and got new seals for it . all were still available localy and were got by the next day heres a few pictures including the extension tubes i made . they were a proper accessory for jacks at the time. though the jacks nowadays probably wouldnt stand up to using them safely .the price of seals was £25.00
