Hi
When I run my welder (Clarke 135TE) on setting 4 its tripping the garage power supply fuse to my garage on my houses' fuse box
sorry I know that this is probably discussed many times before but from reading previous posts on the subject I get the impression that if the welder is drawing too many amps it should really blow the fuse in the socket rather than trip my fuse box?
I only got the house rewired a couple of years ago and have a 'proper' supply to the garage with its own fuse box (that does not trip!). Wish I'd known at the time that would want 16amp socket
