Hey guys,am I right thinking connect vans do not rust like normal transits or have I got that wrong?
one made me laugh as it was a car valet service van.
That's 'cause they always full of damp and chemicals. rot from inside out.....
Don't buy a blacksmiths van either, my Dad did and it fell apart because of coal dust!

it was ballastFriend of mine bought an ex builder van and the sills were full of cement, not sure if it was deliberate or not Bloke across the road is a mobile farrier and his van is always down on the bump stops.
no apparently not it was lop sided in a puddleBallast? didn't it float correctly.
only in a shower of rain
With a non standard colour they often put thicker paint on them to get the depth of colour, but as most vans standard colour is white you don't need as thick a coat to get the depth of colour, hence why most manufacturers offer white as the standard colour, and any other colour as an option. The difference in paint consumption is minimal per unit, but add it up over a production line run and the saving soon adds up to a lot of paint saved.
