I've set myself a challenge in that I want to learn to weld thin copper sheet (around 0.7 - 1.2 mm thick). From my limited experience it seems the pool takes a while to develop due to the heat conduction away from the heating zone but then when a pool does develop it can quickly burn through.
This leads me to think pulse and/or pedal control is called for.
I am therefore looking for some help and guidance here from you guys who actually have welded copper successfully.
Thanks in advance.
