Hey all, thanx for having me. I'm not a first time hobby welder in general but definitely a first timer with TIG so here's my dilemma. I bought a dual voltage 160A TIG/Arc welder off amazon, followed the manual, looked at YouTube videos etc but my welder will not arc. Gas flow is very sufficient, current flow is adequate. I get the electrical bolts when before contact with the metal (aluminum, steel, carbon steel) but it doesn't light up. I removed the casing to check houses all good to go, tried red, blue & grey tungstwn tips, surfaces to do my practice welfare are so clean and decontaminated I could eat off of them, tungsten is sharpened, running amps between 120-140, flow meter 10-15 CFM but it just won't light up. I'm at the point of thinking its a defective product, any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA
