It will run fine on a 16 amp supplyLooking at the details that should be OK on a 16a supply. @doubleboost has used the machine and may be able to confirm 16a supply is adequate.
Thats good to know the older ones were lower range ok on 16a but top end 32a.It will run fine on a 16 amp supply
That is what they recommend in the manual
How long a lead do you need? Up to 3m 2.5mm2 will be fine. Past that id go 4mm2 all day long.
16A is 1.5 mm cable 20A is 2.5mm ,
If it’s rated for 16A then it will handle 16A and should be protected by a 16A device. You shouldn’t notice A volts drop unless your running quite a distance, say over 10m, but if you buy a 20m exstention at 16A it will be ( should be) sized accordingly. Most electrical items should be rated at +-10% voltage variations, what distance are you running the cable?
4mm would be good for 30A @12mV/A/m volts drop, good stuff but expensive. so a 12.6V drop at full amps over 35m
your not supposed to run a 30 amp socket of a ring main at any point . u can spur off with a 13 amp fused spur or to a double socket max . u can run a ringmain in a workshop with all 30 amp sockets . but not mixed with 13 ampYou really need a 2.5 extension cable same as the lead fitted to your machine. Plugs sockets and supply all should be 32 amp. You should be able to run 32 amp supply off a ring main. My 200 is rated consumption of 27 amps. Certainly not off a 13 amp plug tho a 13 amp plug. A 13 amp fuse will be safe.
