Hi all,
Noob here and my first day on these forums.
I bought a used telwin mig recently. and due the circumstances beyond my control at the time, never could test the machine properly before buying it. It switched on and the wire feed motor worked when the trigger was pulled.
I want to borrow a shielding gas bottle from a mate and try the unit first before investing on a bottle myself.
which brings me to my issue...
I don't have three phase power at my home and this unit's power cord is a fancy 5 pin plug.
The machine didn't come with a manual and shockingly i wasn't able to find one online either. the sales brochures are there but not a owners manual
From what little i can see, the unit can run off single phase as well. there are two ground clamp spots and one is for single and the other for three phase. Assume the only difference is less effectiveness and less power with single phase.
Would any of you gents be able to help me figure out the wiring?
I don't want to blow something up by plugging the wrong wires to my home 230~240 single phase.
I've been trying to figure out the front panel info but not a lot of luck there
Appreciate any assistance
