Hi all,
One of my wire feed tips appeared to have welded itself to the threaded section of the swan neck from my SIP Migmate 130 Turbo [overheating, I guess]. I managed to extract the tip but not without damaging the receiving thread on the swan neck. I've had the trigger assembly apart and it seems to be possible to replace the neck but my question is are these readily available as generic items [Weldequip?] or are they likely to be proprietory?
Alternatively, would it be worth getting a better quality trigger assembly?
Options, thoughts, recommendations would be really appreciated. I've attached a pic of the blinking thing [taken quickly].
Thanks all.
Steve.
