Sorry, hate to post another C.Virus thread, but if anyone has ordered / taken delivery of materials for whatever projects you’re taking on during lockdown (with the supplier still safely operating) I’d be grateful to hear.

Right now I’m after a pile of plasterboard, all the local outfits shut down but B&Q seem to be offering free delivery over £50.

Metals, plastics, building materials, if you know a supplier is still operating please post.

I had a delivery from F H Brundle of some steel yesterday, and theoretically I'm due a delivery of ballast and cement from Wickes on Friday 3rd April.

Not seen the postman yet this week though :dontknow:

They’re definitely still about, Ive seen them round ours and I think Boris has told them to keep going. I feel for them, and the bin/recycling services, Id expect to see them gloved and masked but don’t seem to be so far.

Screwfix and Toolstation doing click and collect only, maybe delivery on some stuff, but both are restricting what you can buy

Most of the suppliers around here are open, as above the shops are not open but they will bring stuff out to the car park. Most of our work is in the middle of nowhere and none of our guys come into contact with anyone else once on the job.
