I've been welding solidly for the last 2 days with the above, 3.2mm 316L rods. They seem to throw the odd wobble and as I have never really strayed away from Esab unfortunately Superon does not meet my expectations, they were provided to me by the customer. They have come out of the vac pac into the quiver and immediately used once upto temperature.
Is it the case that Superon are rebranders and mix lots of other makes in a pack, or are they great rods and it's all my fault? Nothing major just some sideburn and inconsistency through the arc. Used about 5-6kg of them and like I said I'm not overly impressed, anyone rate them?
Thanks.
