I am doing a high power blower conversion for my Scimitar GTC restoration project and the new design for the heater blowers mount "bilge blowers" vertically in the nose, rather than the original Smith's "snail blowers that are standard. The output of these blowers is 4" OD. I need to interface that at 90 degrees to the original car's ventilation hose which appears to be 3.25" ID. So far I have straight 4" ID to 3.25" ID Silicone reducers in stock. The vent hose will not go into the reducer, nor encircle it. As well as that, it means a tight bend in the vent hose. I have looked for elbows in 3.25 and 4 inch but the only hits are expensive silicone ones. I was thinking of some sort of cheap PVC fittings, but come up with sweet FA, at least in the sort of price range I was hoping for! I think that the ideal would be a piece of 3" to 3.25" OD lightweight plastic tube that I can use as a joiner. If this were a 90 degree, fairly compact bend, it would make life very much easier.
