So, bit of a learning project for me this one.
Got my hands on a Stuart 10V kit to machine and build.
A bit of a case of 'all the gear, but no idea' with this I feel.
Got a Super7 for turning the parts, a decent drill press, plenty of bits and bobs....
Pretty small scale for me, huge compared to optima21's little masterpieces though!
I'm okay at banging a few mm off abit of bar, or hole through a bit of solid on a Mascot, thats about the extent of my metal turning.
Had a look at a few posts/videos on the interweb of people that have built/are bulding a 10V. Anyone here built one?
Still very early days
A mill with a DRO would be nice for doing the holes.
Waiting for a 7/16" ball nose cutter to machine out the bearing housings next.
