Just had a brainwave as opposed to my usual brainf****.Any old pan will work on a stove with flat top and rear flue exit but stoves with top exit flues not so easy.So for those with plasma cutters and tig gear, existing stainless or alu saucepans cut be could up and rewelded in quarter/crescent moon shapes to fit around the flue?.
Bit late to shop for pans now but if you take your OHs pans from the kitchen and cut them up and reweld them tomorrow ,you can suprise her on christmas day and show that you are not just aimlessly messing around in your welding den.
Disclaimer: metalworking and welding is dangerous-before embarking on this project ensure you have the necessary safety equipment, a good pair of running shoes and an alternative place to sleep over christmas.
