I don't bother with them frankly.

I actively remove them.

I empty thé water tanks at thé end of thé season, refill them in spring, add chlorine to kill any bactéria, leave it a week, flush and refill.

Never had any probs.

I don't see the issue with glass bowls. How can you see if the fuel filter is drawing in air or crap without a glass bowl.

Well you won't see air being drawn in as thé glass bowl is on thé bottom.

Do you know of and iso7840 hose with a 45mm ID?

Not sure about boats but on the tractors you can see when they're just filling up with air not fuel

Just been reading the BSS information and fuel hose with the following is acceptable for the filler pipe work.

Applicability – diesel filling hose in good condition may be accepted without marking or declaration,
provided it can be examined over its entire length. Applicability-hoses marked ISO 7840, ISO 8469, ISO 15540, SAE J 1527, DIN 4798 or RINA DIP/66/96 may be accepted as being suitable for use with petrol or diesel.

I think it's well worth reading everything before I get him back for the recheck.

Try searching for inch and three quarters instead of the Metric size equivalent.

38mm = 1.5"
44mm = 1.75"
51mm = 2"

Just been checking on the gas system as I managed to borrow a pressure tester. I found the leak and it's on the port they need to do the leak testing :doh:

I'm still fitting a new reg and pigtail but it's good to know none of the appliances are leaking and the system is OK.

Grandmother/eggs alert..New olives are much safer than PTFE. Or annealed old ones even..my LPG surveyor would give birth if he saw that!
Or is it just a bodge for the gauge pigtail?

It's a historical bodge for the gauge pigtail. Long term it will be replaced with a new fitting :thumbup:

So still not through the BSS but it should do when he comes out next.

Last weekend I did a lot of filler work on the back deck and got it in epoxy primer.
