I want to try welding stainless steel, I have a gys 160 easy mig currently setup for steel with co2/argon gas. Can I just change the wire to stainless and start experimenting or do I need to change my torch liner?
As Gordon says don't use pure argonYou don't need to change the liner if it's the same thickness wire, you should use pure argon though

Argon, a couple of percent CO2 and varying amounts of He depending on the flavourHow is the Staindhield mixed in proportion?
The stainshield gases from boc are still 1.5-2.8% co2. Depending on which one you go for there is large % of helium and Argon in them. How is the Staindhield mixed in proportion?
Like thatTo be honest unless you are planning on welding up a nuclear reactor the liner will be fine
