Yes,
I spent most of January's weekends last year in my garage taking apart Disco front inner arches and wings.
I found using a centre punch then this worked well.
Funnily enough it’s to do a pair of rear arches On a disco
I took this apart this with one of those spot weld removers. There definitely a knack to using one but nothing overly difficult. It's more judging when to back off so that they don't go through both panels
Have you still got the front end?
The chap who wants me to do the rear inner arches also needs the front body mounts and they have gone under the headlamp bowls
Can you pm me your number please young man
As mentioned above use centre punch to start the cutter & starting at very slow speed until the cutter cuts far enough in to guide itself. Also as mentioned above stopping the cutter after cutting through the first layer only takes judgement.I found they quite often skated off all over the place
X2 on that, you can't wiggle those other ones around as much as the flat facedI have used them but I much prefer the cobalt, flat faced, spot weld drill bits
