been re-furbing some machinery at work.
had to replace the beds which are 32mm thick and some got some 16mm holes in places.
am thinking of using one as bed and getting another cut into 25mm and 50mm strips then using countersunk bolts from underneath to bolts strips down to make T to slide t-nuts into.
getting it cut is not prob as place that cut new beds will cut old ones for 2 crates of beer as long as i dont mind it being fitted in.
each bed is 2m x 1.7 m.
need to know if it will work as boss will only let us have bits now, we can prove we have use for, thanks to some idiot taking loads of ally and weighing it in.
until then it was case of might be able to use that and you could have it.
