Hi, Hope someone maybe able to help me,
I have a bad habit of lending tools and it is a while since I have used my welder. yesterday went to use it and when welding the machine is pulsating, not welding cleanly. I have noticed that the gas they replaced for me is straight argon.
I feel it should be argon / co2 mixture. Sorry I use the disposable bottle
I have checked wire feed, seems ok , if you run new wire thru it runs great but as soon as you weld this pulsating starts. Iam using .08 wire
The machine has been sitting for 12 months in a dry cupboard and out dust etc. When I purchased the machine I had SIP put the gas conversion.
It ran perfectly before I lent I hoping it is the wrong gas.
