Hi guys.
I've been using my SIP 195 for many years now but more regularly on a classic mini project on which it has been welding no problem. The other day it tripped the circuit breaker when the trigger is pulled before striking an arc. An i've tried quite a few times now to no avail. What I've tried so far:
Visual inspection of all internal parts and circuit board for signs of damage, replaced the main relay as the contacts looked to be burned/damaged, remoaved and checked the bridge rectifyer for visual damage/cracks to diodes and tested with the wire motor disconnected.
I notice that before the fuse blows, there's a lot of arcing/sparking from the relay which migh be an indication of what's at fault but I'm not enough of an expert to know much more than that.
Any help or pointers greatly appreciated!
