Not had it long ( NEC in November I think) and its stopped, can I open the lens thing up? Or should I bin it and buy a new one?
The screen looks to be well and truly closed with hidden clips or glue
They are sealed units and they’re a pain to try and dismantle.
You might be able to find an identical screen. I found one on Amazon for one of my masks but without looking I’m not sure if it was the SifLite or the Parweld. It came from France and was surprisingly cheap.
Well my good friend and electronics twiddler took it to bits and the batteries have had it but by the time I buy a pair of batteries and holder etc I have found a new screen for £6.50!
I did Email SIP who never replied which is disappointing.
I have replaced it with an Esab one so this one will be thrown in with the Mig I will soon be selling well if I can get off my bottom and test it.
